Player Scott

Elliott said the Ford Escape, donated by Wade Ford, would have been a

great prize had he made a hole in one on number ten. The golf cart on

hole number one was donated by Peachtree Golf Cars Inc. The competitive

par three hole didn't give players a break that day.

The event began

at noon with a shotgun start. First place winners were Greg Johnson, Claude

Crisp, Jeff Nealon and Jeff Dorner. Second, third and last place prizes

were awarded along with closest to the pin and longest drive.

Funds received

for the event will go toward local Scholarships. ABWA's National Scholarship

Trust has contributed more than $11 million to women's professional success

through education.

ABWA is made

up of 70,000 working women across the nation. Its mission is to bring

together businesswomen of diverse occupations and to provide opportunities

for them to help themselves and others grow personally and professionally

through leadership, education, networking support and national recognition.

For information phone President Dianne Leimbach at 770-599-3738. The group

hopes to have another tournament in the spring.
