Students at
Brooks Elementary School not only brought in several bins full of socks
and gloves for the firefighters in New York City, they had them personally
delivered.
School counselor
Oriska Griggs said the students donated the items over a three-day period.
Fourth grade
student Victoria Gerrard just happened to have a father who is a retired
New York fireman. Her mom and dad loaded up their car last Friday and
headed northeast to personally deliver the items.
