The Scottish

Arts Council formed the band and choir in 1997. Students from all secondary

schools in East Ayrshire are given the opportunity to be involved in the

groups. Ayrshire schools are known throughout Scotland as having a strong

music program and for producing gifted musicians.

Tickets are

$5 for all seats and can be purchased in advance at the LaFayette Educational

Center in Fayetteville or the Omega Bookstore in Peachtree City. Tickets

also will be sold at the door. This will be the first time the East Ayrshire

band and choir have performed in Fayette.

For information

phone the Community School at 770-460-3990, extension 136.

Fayette's Community

Education Program and Achievers International (Georgia) are sponsoring

the performance.
