Tackett is
also seeking a monetary award for pain and suffering brought on by the
accident.
According to
an accident report filed by the Fayette County Sheriff's Department, Farman
pulled in front of Tackett's vehicle while attempting to turn onto Sandy
Creek Road. Farman was charged with failure to yield at a stop sign.
In their answer
to the lawsuit, the Farmans also allege that neither of the parents should
be held legally responsible for the accident. The Farmans' lawyer, Samuel
Murray, also said that Leanne Farman did not provide the car to Lydia
Farman, which is what Tackett originally claimed in the lawsuit.
