The event,
sponsored by Stevi B's Pizza of Fayetteville, Miniteman Press of Fayetteville
and Atlanta's Christian radio station J93.3, benefits the Leukemia and
Lymphoma Society.
The educational
community event also supports cancer research and patient programs. Stevi
B's has agreed to donate a portion of the sales from meals purchased Saturday
to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society's Team in Training Program.
The program
generates financial support that aids current and former leukemia patients
such as Fayette County residents Tyler Johnson and Paul Waldrop Jr. The
cost of the meal that day is $6 for adults and $4 for children, including
meal and drink.
