He had served on the last land use committee and is currently on the town
Water Committee.
He and his
wife, Jane, have two grown sons.
"I believe
in being involved," he said, "in my community. I was reared
in the Fife community, Fairburn, and have been in municipal government
for 28 years. I have a good feel for the work of a councilman and I feel
quite qualified for the post."

Ramsden, have also lived in Brooks for 11 years.
She was born

"I am
very interested in maintaining the special qualities of life we all enjoy

rural setting and non-commercialism. I want to ensure that our community
is shaped to preserve all of the things that make our town desirable to
our residents and their families."
