The invitation
to play at this year's Southern Instrumental Conductors Conference is
just one of many awards the band has received. Last year, the band was
invited to play at the University of Georgia Middle School Band Festival
and it has received superiors from every festival it has competed in since
the school opened. Additionally, 12 band members have been selected to
audition for this year's All State Band.
