Thurmond announced last week that NCR of Peachtree

City has earned the department's Award of Achievement

in recognition of exceptional work place safety.

The award

is made to an employer who has experienced between 125

and 249 continuous work days within a calendar year with

no lost-time injuries.

- Nancy Faulkner , city clerk of

Peachtree City, has been awarded the prestigious

designation of Certified Municipal Clerk from the

International Institute of Municipal Clerks for achieving

its high educational, experience and service

requirements.

Faulkner

has been employed with the city of Peachtree City since

1989, serving six years as secretary before her current

appointment to clerk.

She

attained her designation as Certified Municipal Clerk

through completion of the International Institute of

Municipal Clerks Institute Program conducted by the Carl

Vinson Institute of Government at the University of

Georgia in Athens.
