Those
taking part in the parade are asked to use only American
flags for decoration on the carts as a sign of respect,
Kiwanis coordinator Annie McMenamin said.
"It is
a special day to remember those men and women who gave
their lives in service to our great country,"
McMenamin said. "We are privileged and honored to
have retired Marine Corps Gen. Raymond Davis, a Medal of
Honor recipient, as our grand marshal."
Davis is
scheduled to be the guest speaker for the Memorial Day
ceremony.
