Council

Commission denial of a variance to allow a fence in a

front yard, as defined by city law. The law defines back

building privacy fences in front yards.

Fayette County

commissioners have reserved the option of using bonds

issued by a special facilities authority to fund a new

jail and courthouse for the county.

that would have the power to issue revenue bonds without

a public vote, but put off appointment of authority

members until later.

Commissioner Greg Dunn.
