Acknowledging
the profusion of "Nutcracker" performances
during the holiday season, Davis said, "There will
always be 5- and 6-year-olds that are seeing it for the
first time."
The
upcoming production features professional dancers and
students. Realism and fantasy blend throughout Georgia
Dance Theatre's presentation with pyrotechnics performed
tree which climbs to new heights as the dream unfolds.
"The
Nutcracker" is recognized as one of the world's most
popular ballets. More than 230 performances were recorded
last year in the United States alone, at least four of
those in Fayette County.
