resume at McDonough Rd.

The

children's choirs and missions programs will resume at

McDonough Road Baptist Church Wednesday, Sept. 1 at 6

p.m. Children's choirs/classes begin at age 2 and go

through sixth grade. Mission Friends, Girls in Action and

Royal Ambassadors will meet following choir practice.

Providence UMC to offer

weight loss program

Providence

United Methodist Church is offering "Body and

Soul," a combination nutritional weight loss program

and spiritual gain through Bible study. The tentative

meeting time is Wednesday evening from 6:45-7:15 p.m. For

Bible study class starts

at PTC United Methodist

Community

Bible Study will begin at Peachtree City United Methodist

Church Thursday, Sept. 9 at 7:30 p.m. The

interdenominational class will begin with a study of the

book of Acts. The community is invited to participate.

PTC UMC to offer divorce

care seminar

A 13-week

Divorce Care seminar/video and workbook series will be

offered at the Peachtree City United Methodist Church

beginning Sunday, Sept. 12. The class will be taught in

room 300 from 10:45 a.m.-noon. Participation is not

limited to church members. The church is at Windgate Road
