New McDonald's
McDonald's broke ground last for a new Peachtree City
restaurant on Crosstown Drive at its intersection with Ga.
Highway 74.
The new 5,000 sq.ft. McDonald's, which will seat
80 people and include an Indoor Play Place, is projected to open in
mid-August.
McDonald's opened a small store at 1105 Crosstown Court
in 1993, but said it needs the larger store.
"It's not often that McDonald's rebuilds after just six years,
but we have outgrown the existing Crosstown store, and of
course, this is indicative of Peachtree City's rapid growth,"
said McDonald's real estate representative Bruce Reed.
