8mm Nicolas Cage is a detective on the trail of a killer who films murdering his victims. It is

from the people who brought you Seven and Flatliners, so expect a dark, grisly, thriller. Rated R.

The Other Sister Juliette Lewis stars as a mentally challenged girl in love with a mentally

challenged boy. Tom Skerritt and Diane Keaton star as the concerned parents. Rated PG-13

October Sky A young, aspiring rocket scientist has dreams of being somebody special.

Laura Dern and Chris Cooper star. Rated PG.

Blast From the Past Brendan Fraser and Alicia Silverstone star in this movie about a man

raised in a bomb shelter for 35 years. Or is it they star in this bomb about a man in a movie shelter.

Rated PG-13.

Waking Ned Devine A charming Irish comedy about a winning lottery ticket and its effect on

a small town. Lots of cute accents and beer drinking.

My Favorite Martian Jeff Daniels and Christopher Lloyd star in this Disney tribute to

a classic sitcom. Full of carzy special effects and zany humor, this one may ony be fun for

children. Rated PG.

Message in a Bottle The earliest form of correspondence, next to carrier pigeons, is

the setting for this love story featuring Kevin Costner and Robin Wright Penn. Rated PG-13.

The Waterboy A mama's boy in New Orleans vents his aggression on the gridiron for a

pathetic college football team. Adam Sandler and Henry Winkler ("The Fonz") star in this very funny film.

Rated PG-13.

Enemy of the State Will Smith is chased by government agents for something that was

placed in his bag without his knowledge in this thriller from famed action director Tony Scott. Rated R.

She's All That Combine Can't Buy Me Love with My Fair Lady, add a touch of The Ugly

Duckling and you get this movie. You know what will happen from the opening second. Rated PG-13.

I Still Know What You Did Last Summer I still know that this series isn't nearly as witty or

scary as the Scream movies. Rated R.

Babe: Pig in the City Babe was a lot more fun on the farm. If you are a child or an animal

lover though, this film will not disappoint. Rated G.

Virus A computer virus from space lands on a ship and proceeds to turn humans into

cyborgs. It sounds stupid when I say it. Rated R.

Saving Private Ryan The favorite in this years Academy Awards, this film scored

11 nominations. A great cast, alegendary director but beware, this movie is violent. Rated R.

The Thin Red Line Another WWII movie, this one about the horrors of war and what

someone thinks about while they are in the heat of battle. For me it would be, "Get me out of this

battle!"Rated R.

Payback A film about a criminal that gets wronged by his colleagues and yet audiences

root for him. Why does this sound so familiar? Rated R.
