Asbury is one of the leading seminaries in the country. He

took his Bachelor of Arts in psychology and Christian ministries

at Spring Arbor College in Michigan. Wilcox is also an

accomplished tennis player, at one time serving as an assistant coach

at the college level. He is 27 years old. His wife, Mishawn,

teaches Spanish at Mount Zion High School in Morrow, Ga.

"We are thrilled to welcome Brad and Mishawn to our

staff," Senior Minister Mark Davenport said. "Brad is one of the

most likeable and energetic young men I have ever met. He has been

with us a few months now and our people are crazy about him.

"He has a real servant's heart which goes a long way in

the ministry, especially to families with children and teens,"

Davenport continued. "He is also very talented in ways that

contribute excellence to our church's contemporary approach. He is

gifted musically and has a flare for drama. Because of this, he is

very involved in both our praise team and our drama ministry. We

feel very fortunate to have someone with Brad's qualifications

leading and relating to our youth."

Wilcox shared that he and his wife love Fayetteville.

"We are not homesick the least bit," Wilcox said. Fayette

Community Church is the perfect place for Mishawn and I to begin

our ministry."

Fayette Community Church is modeled after the famous

Willow Creek Community Church in Chicago. Its purpose is to reach

people who are not comfortable in more traditional churches. It meets

at the old dollar theater just north of the square in Fayetteville.

Sunday service meets at 10 a.m. Breakaway youth meets

on Wednesday nights at 7 p.m.
