The five members of Fayette County's Planning
Commission will be working with staff members in coming weeks
to review five aspects of the county's land use plan
for possible revision.
The County Commission recently asked the
planning panel to start working on a thorough revision of the
plan, which is used as a tool in zoning decisions and
infrastructure planning.
Planning Commission chairman Bob Harbison will work on the text portion of
the plan; Bill Beckwith will study the area around Fayette
Pavilion; Al Gilbert will look at the area around Fayette
Community Hospital; Jim Graw will study south Fayette, and Fred
Bowen will work on environmental aspects of the plan.
