Student drama troupe presents dessert mystery

The student drama troupe of River's Edge

Community Church presents its first community theater Aug. 14 and

15 at 7 p.m. The play, which is audience-interactive, is

"The Mysterious Benefactor."

"When we moved into the south Jeff Davis

community, we decided to be a community center for

wholesome, family activities which were not necessarily religious

in purpose," said Dr. John Hatcher, pastor.

Rather than a dinner theater format, the production will

be a dessert theater with tickets costing $5 each. Desserts

will be delicious and homemade. Students will not only be

the dramatic personnel, but will also serve tables. Members

of the audience will be encouraged to participate in the

mystery play's fun.

For tickets and more information, call 770

719-0303. River's Edge is at 1091 South Jeff Davis Dr. in Fayetteville.
