Ann Lynn Stephenson Hawks, 74, of Fayetteville, Ga.

Ann Lynn Stephenson Hawks, age 74, of Fayetteville, passed away September 5, 2021.

Ann was born in Columbus, Ohio on March 29, 1947 to the late C. Leon and Nancy J. Stephenson.

Ann graduated from Grandview Heights High School where she was a majorette. After attending college, she enjoyed a career in banking. She loved riding horses, painting and travel. Ann lived in many states, including Ohio, Illinois, Tennessee, Florida, Alabama and Georgia.

She inherited her mother’s passion for cats and always had one by her side. She was an avid New Orleans Saints fan and followed the Atlanta Braves. Ann was a much beloved daughter, sister, step-mother and wife.

Ann is survived by her husband Thomas Hawks, her sister Carol J. Stephenson, her cousin Frank Stephenson, step-daughter Kelly Hawks and her children Kody A. Miller, Mckenzie Jade Davis Lliaria and Grabriella D. McIntosh, and her step-son Jeff Hawks and his children Kelsey Reece and Jaxon Hawks.

A Celebration of Life will be held in Ann’s honor at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or American Humane Society. The Hawks family is being assisted by Georgia Cremation, 1086 Hwy 54 West, Fayetteville.
