A pair of local high schools have been named among the best for SkillsUSA in the entire country.

Sandy Creek High has been named a Gold Chapter of Distinction. This marks the seventh-consecutive year the Patriot program has earned the honor.

Fayette County High has been named a Quality Chapter.

SkillsUSA is a career and technical student organization serving more than 395,000 high school, college, and middle school students and professional members enrolled in training programs in trade, technical, and skilled service occupations, including health occupations.
