S.A.G.E. heads for Callenwolde

The S.A.G.E. group at Fayetteville First United Methodist Church (Senior Adults Going Everywhere) will enjoy Christmas at Callenwolde on Thursday, Dec. 8, leaving the church at 9 a.m. and returning at 3 p.m. The cost is $20 plus lunch at the Picadilly.

During the holidays, Callenwolde, a 27,000 sq. ft. Gothic-Tudor mansion, is transformed by Atlanta’s top interior and floral designers. period furniture, designer treasures, fine art and dazzling Christmas trees reflect a glorious era from the 1920s – 1950s, when the prominent Candler family lived there. Visitors will enjoy music of the holidays played on the Aeolian pipe organ. Register no later than tomorrow, Dec. 1.
