Mrs. Maxine Jones, age 79, of Fayetteville, passed away Monday, Nov. 7, 2011. She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church of Fayetteville.

She was retired from Delta Air Lines.

She is survived by husband; Lewis Jones of Fayetteville, daughter and son-in-law, Renee and Richard Piercy of Italy, brother and sister-in-law, Clark and Judy West of Fayetteville, grandchildren, Kimberly (Terry) Blanton, Leslie Clay, great grandchildren, Olivia Mitchell, London Blanton, Gage Blanton, Emma Blanton.

A funeral service will be held Thursday, Nov. 10, 2011 at 2 p.m. in the Ford-Stewart Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Hugh Kirby officiating. Interment at Holly Hill Memorial Park.
