Richard Lamar Saylors II

Richard Lamar Saylors II, 27, Brooks, died Jan. 30, 2010. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to fish, hunt and spend time with his dogs. He also enjoyed time with his family and girlfriend, Arisha Rives. He attended Starr’s Mill High School before beginning his career in the construction industry. Services were at the Carl J. Mowell chapel with the Rev. Keith Moore and the Rev. Josh Gill officiating. Interment was at Brooks Memorial Cemetery.

Survivors include his parents, Richard and Cynthia Saylors, Wedowee, Ala., formerly of Brooks; a brother, William James Saylors, Wedowee; a sister, Heather and Robert Grijalva, Concord; nieces, Ava Dianne Grijalva and Zoe Madelyn Grijalva, Concord; and grandparents, Charles Linger, Douglasville, Bonnie Brown, Griffin, and Annilee Saylors, Riverdale. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville, was in charge.
