Mrs. Ruth A. White, 86, of Fayetteville, passed away July 18 2011.

Mrs. White is preceded in death by her husband Harry R. White, Sr.

She is survived by her children, Harry “Ronald” and Loretta White of Newnan, Ken and Sherrill Chambers of Fayetteville; Ray and Pamela White of Fayetteville and Alice White of Savannah; ten grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 20, 2011 at 11:00 AM at Kenwood First Baptist Church with Reverend Darrell Hayes and Reverend Lynn McClain officiating. Mrs. White will lie in state from 10:00 to 11:00AM. Burial will follow at Flat Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at Mowell Funeral Home, Fayetteville.
