Visitors to Dixieland Amusement Park this 4th of July will be treated to an eye popping display of video, lights, sound and fire as Dixieland hosts The 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular. It is slated to be one of the largest fireworks displays in the state at over 17 minutes long and a shell count into the thousands. In addition to the normal effects guests are used to seeing in a standard fireworks show, Dixieland is going the extra mile to feature special effects such as creamora fireballs, line rockets and four detonation sites though out the park. In addition there will be special surprises and other effects not to be missed.

The show is being choreographed to music, lights and video and is being created by Dixieland’s own pyro department. The show is so complex that preparations are already underway for this coming 4th.

Due to the lay out of the park, there are great views of the show for all the guests. Guests to this show will be able to see the show from the ground up, something that many shows cannot offer. Record attendance is expected so plan to get to the park early.

Park hours on Monday, July 4 are 12-10 p.m., parking is $10. Each car before 7 p.m. will receive a coupon for $5 off admission. With our summer special of everyone pays the kids price, general admission is only $16 for unlimited rides. Entry into the park is free with paid parking after 8:30 p.m. Fireworks are planned for dark (approximately 9:30).

Some rides lines may close early for the fireworks. Route 66 Antique cars and the Stealth Attack Zip line will close at 7:30 p.m. to prepare for the fireworks show.
