Phyllis Hutchison Withrow, age 83, of Fayetteville passed away on May 9, 2011 following a long illness with stomach cancer. Phyllis was a member of the Eastern Star for over 50 years. She was an active member of Peachtree City United Methodist Church where she served in many capacities including, Stephen Ministry and Past President of the Ad Loy Ho Sunday School Class.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar Neil and Thelma Hutchison and her husband of 46 years, Robert C. Withrow. She is survived by her daughters, Donna W. Crutchfield and her husband, Richard of Atlanta, GA; Sandi Johnson and her husband, Ralph of Carrollton, GA; Berlinda Langford and her husband, Tommy of Stockbridge, GA; Kathy Pace and her husband, Ronald of Fayetteville, GA and a special “daughter of the heart”, Carla DeLosSantos and her husband, Randy of Cadwell, GA; sister, Nancy Ford of Dillon, SC; brothers, Richard Hutchison and his wife, Carol of Denver, IN; William (Bill) Hutchison of Hinton, WV; 8 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and several very special step grandchildren and step great grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held Friday, May 13, 2011 at 1 o’clock at the Chapel of Parrott Funeral Home with Rev. Carolyn Clifton and Pastor Tommy Crutchfield officiating. Interment services to follow at Sherwood Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers those desiring may make donations to Peachtree City United Methodist Church Memorial Fund, Hospice Advantage or St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
