Ronald Michael “Mickey” Odom, 69, of Fayetteville, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, May 5, 2011.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Willie Charles and Doris Catherine Chandler Odom and a brother, Tommie Lee Odom.

Mickey took pride in holding the oldest business license in Peachtree City for his barbershop, which his son operates. He was retired due to health, but very much enjoyed the time with family, especially, his grandsons. He served the United States Army Reserve as a Staff Sergeant. He was a member of Fayetteville Masonic lodge 711.

He is survived by his wife, Janice Lois Baldree and sons Scott Odom and Bill Odom and Debbie O’Neil; grandsons Michael Dean Odom and Matthew Scott Odom; brother, Don and Mary Alice Odom of Fayetteville and sister, Trixie and Dean Whitworth of Bois D’Arc, Missouri. He is also survived by his mother-in-law, Sarah Baldree and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 9, 2011 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Mowell Funeral home, Fayetteville, with Reverend Glenn Stringham officiating. Interment will be at Westminster Memorial Gardens, Peachtree City. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
