0Mr. Marvin Harold “Buss” Hill, 91, of Fayetteville, passed away on May 3, 2011.
Mr. Hill proudly served in the U.S. Army and is a Veteran of WWII. He was a recipient of a Purple Heart Medal and a Bronze Star Medal.
He is preceded in death by his parents James Edward Hill and Emma Estelle Evans; eleven brothers and sisters.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 47 years Claudine Hill; step-son Ron and Kim Lovett of Moultrie; step-grandchildren Lisa Lovett of Conyers, Josh Lovett of Valdosta and Tiffany Vereen of Moultrie ; sister Betty Hill of Fayetteville; numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 6, 2011 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Mowell Funeral Home, Fayetteville with Reverend Wendall Banks. Burial will follow at Camp Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
