Gary Lee Weddington, 66, of Fayetteville, GA, passed away peacefully at his home May 2, 2011.
Born in Boaz, AL, Gary served our country in the United States Marine Corps and was self-employed as the owner of Weddington Drywall Service. He is affectionately known as “Paw” by his seven grandchildren and was loved and respected by all who knew him.
He is preceded in death by his father, mother and ten siblings.
Gary is survived by his loving wife of forty years, Frankie, and his three daughters Gina (Tommy) Whaley of Williamson , GA ; Lisa (Don) Beck of Owasso, OK; and Angela (Brian) Varisco of Cincinnati, OH. The funeral service will be held Friday, May 6, 2011 at Ebenezer United Methodist Church with Reverend Bob Tobias officiating. The body is to lie in state at 10:00 a.m. and burial will follow at Camp Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 5, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 p.m. at Carl J. Mowell & Son, Peachtree City.
