Mrs. Betty M. Charters, 65, of Acworth, GA, formerly of Chamblee, passed away on April 15, 2011.
Mrs. Charters is survived by her husband Charles “Charley” Charters; four children, Yvette Hogan of Fayetteville, Collette Mandich of Fayetteville, Bryan Jenkins of Cumming, Mark Jenkins of Gainesville; father Bill Miller of Phillits, WI; mother Helen Strand of Downers Grove, IL; grandchildren, Barry, Brandon and Jacquelyn Jenkins, all of Cumming, Erin and Al “Boo” Hogan, III, and Samantha, Alexandra, and Emily Mandich, all of Fayetteville; great-granddaughter Victoria Jenkins.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, April 17, 2011 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Mowell Funeral Home, Fayetteville with Dr. Jim Ellison officiating. Burial will follow at 4:30 PM at Pineridge Memorial Park, Kennesaw, GA. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 2:00 to 4:00 PM at the funeral home.
