Michael Lee Smithwick, age 58 of Fayetteville

Mr. Michael Lee Smithwick, age 58 of Fayetteville, GA joined our loving Lord on March 3, 2011. He was born on February 5, 1953 in Marietta, GA to Odell and Imogene Smithwick. Michael began a career in construction at an early age and continued on to become a General Contractor and talented craftsman. He was a loving, dedicated husband and devoted parent who had a passion for Nascar, fishing, and western movies.

Mr. Smithwick was predeceased by his father, Odell Smithwick, and is survived by his wife of 13 years, Karen Smithwick; son, Jesse Smithwick; daughter, Jeannie Smithwick; mother, Imogene Smithwick; brother, David Smithwick; sisters, Sandra Coleman and Connie Woods; stepson, Matthew Fraser; step daughters, Kristie Kloeppel, Kiana Kyser, Kalani Fraser, Kendra Fraser; grandchild, Kaedon Fraser; numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 12, 2011 at the Higgins Hillcrest Chapel Funeral Home, 1 Bullsboro Drive, Newnan, GA 30263.
