Summit will host benefit concert
Wilmesherr, a band from Middle Tennessee University, will be in concert Friday, Jan. 28 at The Summit Church. The concert will begin at 7 p.m. with doors opening at 6. There is no charge for admission; however canned goods are requested. The staple food items will be donated to Fayette Samaritans, food bank. FCCF plans celebration service
The Fellowship of Christian Churches and Friends (FCCF) will hold its regular Fifth Sunday Celebration on Jan. 30 at 2:30 p.m. at True Love Christian Ministries. The FCCF exists to promote unity among churches in south metro Atlanta. Elder Carl Golden, assistant pastor at True Love, will preach at the celebration. The senior pastor at True Love is Elder Nathaniel Livingston. The service will also include two praise dance teams and selections by the combined FCCF choir. St. Paul will offer Beth Moore class
St. Paul Lutheran Church in Peachtree City will offer Beth Moore’s Bible Study “A Woman’s Heart: God’s Dwelling Place,” a 10-week series that will explore the account of the building of the Old Testament tabernacle and its meaning today. Morning sessions will be held on Tuesdays, Feb. 1 through April 19, from 9 -11:15 a.m. Evening classes will begin Thursday, Feb. 3 and continue through April 21 from 7 – 9 p.m. Sessions will be held at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 700 Ardenlee Parkway in Peachtree City. Holy Trinity will offer GriefShare
Griefshare is being offered at Holy Trinity Church at 101 Walt Banks Rd. in Peachtree City. The 13-week Christian video/discussion group teaches ways for coping with the loss of a loved one. Sessions will be offered on Wednesday evenings from 7-9 p.m. and on Friday mornings from 9:30-11:30 a.m. beginning Feb. 2 and Feb. 4 in room #205 in the faith formation building. Clown Conference is Feb. 4
New Hope Clown Troop invites the community to “All Things Fun,” a program for the whole family featuring well known clowns, magic and comedy jugglers on Friday, Feb. 4 at 7 p.m. at the North Campus Worship Center. Admission is free. The event features acts from all over the country and promises to be a great family night out that will leave everyone laughing.

CDM plans seminar Feb. 12
Christ Discipleship Ministries (CDM) will host a seminar titled Prophet Chambers Training Saturday, Feb. 12, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The speaker will be Prophet Timothy Frazier. The training is for those who feel called to the office of the Prophet and for those who want to understand the role of the Prophet in the 21st Century. No nursery or childcare will be provided.
