0Mrs. Bertha Moon, 84, of Fayetteville, died January 22, 2011.
She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband James Moon and her daughter Wanda Moon.
She is survived by her son David & Brenda Moon, Sr. of Athens, GA and daughter Janet Behrens of Fayetteville; grandsons David & Amy Moon, Jr. and Joe & Julie Moon, as well as five great-grandchildren, all of Athens; sister Helen Abbott of Fayetteville and brother Bobby & Barbara Rogers of Acworth.
Funeral services will be held Monday, January 24, 2011 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Mowell Funeral Home, Fayetteville. Rev. Wally Woodcock and Rev. Wilson Wallace will officiate. The burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Sunday from 2:00 to 5:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Southwest Christian Care or New Hope Baptist Church Mission Fund.
