The Reverend Raymond J. Greiner age 87, of Peachtree City went to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 9, 2017. He was born on April 6, 1930, in Altoona, Penn., to the late Edwin and Alice Greiner.
Raymond is a veteran having served in the United States Army. He also ran for the United States Senate in Rhode Island before moving to Georgia. After being ordained in 1997, Father Ray served several parishes in Georgia and retired from All Saints Anglican Church in 2015.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Jere Greiner; son, David (Jessica) Greiner of Peachtree City; daughter, Jennifer (Mark) Tremblay of Lincoln, R. I.; and son, Jamie Greiner (Ivona) of Fayetteville. He is also survived by his sister Alice of Long Beach, Calif. and 5 grandchildren, Jessica (Kevin) Mullins, Andrew Tremblay, Michael Tremblay, Kylee Greiner, Logan Greiner; and one great-granddaughter, Mackenzie Mullins.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. on December 16, 2017 at All Saints Anglican Church, 149 Ebenezer Road, Fayetteville, Ga., with Archbishop Foley Beach officiating.
