The Peachtree City Council recently approved a new venue management contract for the Frederick Brown Amphitheater with PRT, LLC. PRT is a joint venture of Atlanta-based companies Premier Events, RCS Productions and Ticket Alternative.

In anticipation of the change, the council on Nov. 16 is expected to approve an addition of $295,000 to this year’s budget “to increase both the revenues and expenses at The Fred,” according to the council information packet for the meeting. The increase is “to allow for increased programming and utilization of the facility, particularly during the ‘fringe’ seasons before and after the primary concert series shows,” according to the information packet.
“This trio of the top event professionals in the Southeast will bring their combined experience and expertise to the management of the venue,” said Premier Events representative Penny Hollingsworth. “They will manage all aspects of the venue from booking and day-to-day operations, to sponsorship sales, marketing, ticketing and concessions.”
Hollingsworth said PRT will work with the city to improve and upgrade the facility as well as deliver a series of shows for the 2018 season and beyond. Music fans will enjoy the continued convenience of driving and parking their golf carts at the facility and for series events, bringing picnic baskets to enjoy an evening under the stars with some of today’s hottest performers, she said.
“We are excited about Peachtree City’s new management partner for The Fred,” said Mayor Vanessa Fleisch. “We know the venue will benefit from the experience of this new team along with their ability to secure amazing performers. We can’t wait to see what they put together for the 2018 season.”
Premier Events will manage venue and event marketing, sponsorship and concessions.
“We are thrilled with the opportunity to collaborate with RCS Productions and Ticket Alternative on such an amazing project. We’ve worked with both companies on many successful events throughout the years. When Peachtree City announced it was seeking new management for The Fred, we jumped at the chance to collaborate with them to achieve this project” said Laura Valente, Partner and VP of Premier Events.
Stephen Moore, president at RCS Productions, will be managing talent acquisition and production services for the venue.
“The RCS Productions team is looking forward to the opportunity to create exciting concert and special event experiences to the Peachtree City community,” said Moore of the new venue management deal.
