The PTC Thunder eighth-grade girls select basketball team is heading to AAU Nationals in Orlando next month. The team consists of seventh- and eighth-grade girls from Fayette County. This year the girls had a 21-0 regular season record and won two state titles.

They played in and won the following tournaments: YBOA Super Regional, Peach State, YBOA Easter Classic, YBOA Georgia State Championship, and AAU Georgia State Championship.

The seventh-graders are Keara Collins, Carrie Consolino, Jaclyn Hester and Nicole Smith.

The eighth-graders are Annette Baker, Madison Howard, Claire Lewis, Ali Rumpel, Cami Salaski and Allie Watson.

The head coach is Kurt Lewis and assistant coaches are Keith Hester and Chris Salaski.
