Thieves hit 8 vehicles at OLOM school

The period of May 16-22 came with eight entering auto incidents in unincorporated Fayette County.

Sheriff Barry Babb said the entering auto incidents occurred at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic High School on Ga. Highway 279 in north Fayette.

In all, eight vehicles were entered in the late morning and early afternoon hours of May 20, Babb said, adding that some of the vehicles were unlocked or had the windows down while some of the vehicles had windows busted out.

Items stolen included electronics, wallets and purses, said Babb.
