Carol Hight, a Carrolton Master Gardener and retired school teacher, was the main speaker at the Nov. 15 Fayette County Master Gardener meeting.  Her subject was Hellebores – Winter Beauties and she drew a crowd of more than 60 members.  Hellebores, or Lenten Rose, are carefree, evergreen, low maintanance plants that should be a part of everyone’s garden.  They bloom in a variety of colors and can be enjoyed from Christmas through April which will brighten your winter landscape.
