Mr. Wilborn Burriss Rucker, 92, of Fayetteville, died on November 14, 2010.

Mr. Rucker was a 39-year employee of the FAA. He retired in 1980 as Chief of the Airway Facilities Division of the Southern Region. Mr. Rucker was a WWII Veteran who proudly served his country in the Army Air Corps in England.

He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Dorothy Reese Rucker; step-daughter, Teresa Brown (William) of Barnesville; five step-grandchildren; two step great-grandchildren; sister, Alva Louise Jones ( Milford ) of Conyers; and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 17, 2010 at 3:00 PM in the Chapel of Mowell Funeral Home, Fayetteville with Rev. Jerry Cross officiating. Burial will take place on Thursday, November 18, 2010 at 11:00 AM at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Abbeville, SC.
