Officials in Region 5-A recently announced its All-Region teams for the 2016-2017 basketball season and two local schools were represented.
Collier Schultz of Landmark (Sharpsburg resident) was named to the Boys South first team, with teammates Micah McAllister and Walker Kessler (both Newnan residents) included on the second team.
For the Girls South squad, Morgan Jones from Our Lady of Mercy made the first team along with Elizabeth Gibbs of Landmark (Fayette resident). Joy Stucker (Fairburn resident) and Paige Aronhalt (Peachtree City resident) of Landmark were named to the second team.
