The last phase of the large transportation project near downtown Fayetteville is open for traffic. The section of Easterbrook Way connecting Ga. Highway 85 to North Jeff Davis Drive and a new traffic signal opened Feb. 10. It becomes only the third traffic signal-controlled intersection in the mile-plus stretch of a busy five-lane highway between the downtown courthouse square and the intersection of Jeff Davis Drive, Hwy. 85 and Hwy. 314 on the north side of the city.
