Public servant appreciation lunch
On Sunday, Oct. 31, from noon to 2 p.m. Edgefield Baptist Church in Fayetteville will show appreciation to those who serve as public servants in Fayette county (local fire, police, sheriff and EMS officials) by providing them with a complimentary lunch in the George Porter Fellowship Hall. Hallelujah NIght is Oct. 31 in PTC
Peachtree City First Presbyterian Church and First Baptist Church will host “Hallelujah Night,” Sunday, Oct. 31 from 6-8 pm. Activities for the children include face painting, rock wall climbing, G Force, High Striker, Ring Toss and more. There also will be popcorn, hot dogs and candy. Woolsey will host Fall Festival
The Fall Festival at Woolsey Baptist Church will be Sunday, Oct. 31, from 4:30- 7 p.m. for all children through the sixth grade. There will be popcorn, Trunk or Treat, cake walk, games and candy, hay ride, face painting, a hot dog dinner serving from 5-6 p.m., and live music. New Hope plans Fall Festivals
New Hope Baptist Church will host its Fall Festival at both locations on Sunday, Oct. 31, from 4-7 p.m. The event is for preschool through sixth grade children. Trunk & Treat will start at 5 p.m. and end at 7. Activities include inflatables, a cake walk, clown shows and food court. Children must be accompanied by an adult and need a free wristband to participate. There is no cost except for food. The Rock Baptist announces Fall Festival
The Rock Baptist Church on Sandy Creek Road will have its Fall Festival Saturday, Oct. 30, from noon until 2 p.m. The festival will feature candy, games, food, a cake walk and more. The church is at 1392 Sandy Creek Rd. For information, call the church, 770-964-4908.

McDonough Road plans Fall Fun Fest
McDonough Road Baptist Church invites the community to its annual Fall Fun Fest Sunday, Oct. 31, from 4-6 p.m. Games, a hayride, face painting, refreshments and plenty of candy will be available at the afternoon event.The church is at 352 McDonough Rd., just past the department of drivers’ services building. Brooks United Methodist Church’s Fall Festival will be Oct. 31 from 5 – 7 p.m. Trunk Trick or Treating is from 5 – 6 p.m. and carnival games in the gym are from 6 – 7 p.m. Also available will be homemade soup and cornbread or hotdogs prepared by the ladies for a love offering. Flat Creek schedules Harvest Fest
