William Reginald Chapman, 79, Brooks

William Reginald Chapman, 79, Brooks, died Sept. 3, 2010. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Ralph and Mamie Lee Snead Chapmen, his first wife, Mattie Ruth Chapman, and sisters, Imogene Hansard and Charlotte Dixon. He was a lifetime Fayette County resident and was employed for 30 years by Ford Motor Company. He was active in the community through Boy Scouts and Little League Baseball. Services were at the Carl J. Mowell chapel with interment at Camp Memorial Cemetery, Fayetteville. Survivors include his wife, Catherine Mann Chapmen, Brooks; a sister, Rebecca and James Lynch; a son, Randy and Holly Chapman; a daughter, Angela Chapmen, a stepson, Scott and Sandra Mann; and seven grandchildren. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville, was in charge.
