The Ronnie Thames Foundation representatives Pam Bozek, left, and Kaye Gordy receive tickets for the Jan. 7 Pinewood Atlanta Studios 2017 Winter Gala from C and S Film Concierge staff member Priscilla Henry. The event benefits numerous local nonprofits.

The stage is set for the 2017 Winter Gala to be held at Pinewood Atlanta Studios on Jan. 7 to benefit local nonprofits.

The gala will be held in the 40,000 sq. ft. Soundstage 17, one of several new soundstages just completed on the 288-acre studio property.

C and S Film Concierge co-president Cyndi Plunkett said the gala will benefit 19 area nonprofit charity organizations. This year’s theme will be “Enchanted Forest,” she said.

Plunkett said the event planners hope to raise $200,000 or more for the nonprofit organizations.

Among other items, the gala will feature a band, live entertainment and a mini-theatrical production.

The nonprofit Ronnie Thames Foundation President Pam Bozek said the gala provides an opportunity to be a part of the community, a chance to understand other nonprofits and to network.

Plunkett noted that the vendors at Pinewood Atlanta Studios donated their time and effort to make the gala a success.

“The event would have cost $500,000 to produce without their help,” said Plunkett.
