“Home for the Holidays” is a half-price pet adoption event scheduled for Dec. 5-10 hosted by Coweta County Animal Control. Volunteers from the group will be present to assist adopters at 91 Self Road in Newnan. Times are 10 a.m.-4:30 p.m. weekdays and 10 a.m.-noon Saturday.

Animals already spayed/neutered have reduced adoption fees. Senior citizens, military, and Coweta County employees adopt for free. Renters must bring written pet authorization from their landlord.
