0Ruth Hazel Crawford, of Brooks, Ga., died July 30, 2010.
She was the daughter of Elizabeth Hurly and Dee Forrest Hazel of Griffin, Ga , deceased. She was born in Bartow County, Ga. July 17, 1918.
Mrs. Crawford was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Frank M. Crawford, and brother Joe T. Hazel of San Antonio, TX .
She is survived by sister Mary (Ben) Pryor, Griffin, Ga.; sister in law Patricia K. Hazel, San Antonio, TX.; sister Nettie (Jerry) Engram, Statesville, NC.; brother Frank D. (Joyce) Hazel, McDonough, GA.; daughter Fran C. McElwaney, Fayetteville, Ga.; granddaughter Erin C. McElwaney, Atlanta, Ga.
A memorial service for Mrs. Crawford will be 11:00 AM, Wednesday, August 4, 2010 at Brooks Christian Church, Brooks, Ga. The Interment will be at Brooks Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to service.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Mrs. Crawford’s memory to Brooks Christian Church, P.O. Box 207 Brooks, Ga. 30205 .
