The Fayette Chamber of Commerce invites the community to Fayette County’s largest trade show. Shopping local is made easy with more than 100 exhibitors under one roof.  The 2016 Community Expo is the place to find some of the best products and services found right here in Fayette.

The expo is scheduled for Tuesday, Sept. 20, 3-7 p.m. at New Hope Baptist Church-South Campus, 1563 Joel Cowan Parkway, near the intersection of Hwys. 74 and 85. Admission is free to the public.

With a focus on providing valuable connections between business and community, Expo’s presenting sponsor this year is Fidelity Bank, home of totally-free checking.

Community Expo features a wide array of local businesses including, but not limited to, health and wellness providers, community organizations, arts and entertainment, restaurants, financial services and educational institutions.  About 2,000 people are expected to stroll the aisles, visiting booths and exhibits.

Back by popular demand, the Chamber is offering its educational session “How to do business with the film industry in Fayette” for businesses and citizens alike. At 5 p.m., Expo visitors will hear local film industry experts share ways that citizens and businesses can leverage opportunities in this ever-growing industry. From location shoots to casting, from behind the scenes to post-production, learn what is happening in film in Fayette and how you can be a part of it.

In addition to Fidelity Bank, other event sponsors include Piedmont Fayette Hospital, Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, Comcast Cable Communications, Hammond Services, Crowne Plaza Atlanta Peachtree, Shane’s Rib Shack-Peachtree City, Capital Investment Companies, Fayette County News, M & R Print Solutions and WEKS 92.5 FM The Bear.
