Patrick Raymond Frechette, age 55 of Fayetteville, Ga. and Salem, Mass. passed away peacefully on Sunday May 1, 2016 at home surrounded by his loving family following a long illness. Born in Salem, Mass. he was the son of the late Raymond and Angela (Pinette) Frechette.
Patrick was a self-made master craftsman, he ran his own Spa & Pool Service business for many years, and had a passion for cooking and catered as a hobby for the pleasure he received preparing and serving great food. Through his earlier years, Patrick engaged in general construction, carpentry and glasswork. Patrick also loved scuba diving and had a passion for the ocean. During his lifetime Patrick has always helped others through various community services.
Many lives have been touched by the always generous, sometimes incredulous and consistently precocious man that was Patrick.
He lived fast, he lived loud and he lived on his terms. You knew when he was there and we can feel his absence now. He will be greatly missed.
He is survived by four siblings, Ronald Frechette and his wife Samantha of Auburn, Maine, Elizabeth Kauler of Salem, Mass., Gloria Dufault of Blackstone, Mass. and Lisa Tarnowski and her husband Stanley of Fayetteville, Ga. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews to whom he left many memorable stories and a lesson or two in life. Joseph Frechette, his wife Adriane and son Luc of Silver Spring, Md., Ronald Frechette of Ossining, N. Y., Kelly Kauler McKillop, her husband Matthew, daughter Kiara and son Liam of Salem, Shannon Kauler, her daughter Sheighla and fiancé Nicholas Luz of Salem, Jeremy Dufault and his wife Julissa of Glendale, Ariz., Jesse Dufault of East Providence, R.I., Matthew Tarnowski and his wife Amy of Vacaville, Calif. and Laura Tarnowski and her fiancé Evan McGoldrick of Rock Hill, S.C.
Arrangements: Services were private and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
