Expo set for March 19

The 3rd Annual Southside STEAM Expo is scheduled for Saturday, March 19, at 10 a.m. at the Coweta County Fairgrounds in Newnan.

It is an educational event focused on science, technology, engineering, art and math. Children and adults of all ages will be able to visit exhibitor booths to participate in hands-on, interactive, fun activities and learn about the various career fields involving STEAM.  

Your Southside STEAM Expo ticket also gives you entry into the 4th Annual Odyssey Charter School PTO Touch A Truck event also being held at the Fairgrounds at the same time. Tickets are $10 each, and you can get $1 off if you bring a canned food item for the Newnan Coweta Food Pantry. Children 2 and under are free.

The Coweta County Fire Department is also hosting a youth event at the Fairgrounds and there will be a BBQ competition by the Fairburn Fire Department as well.
