Vonna Ivory Joseph of Fayetteville, a local mother of three and U.S. Air Force veteran, will debut her contemporary romance novel, GOOD ENOUGH, at the Modern Muse Boutique at 455 S. Glynn St., Suite 201, in Fayetteville Saturday, Feb. 6, noon-4 p.m.

She will be teaming up with Pat Nealy, owner of the Modern Muse for a Valentine’s Day special event. The event will consist of a book signing, a reading and Valentine’s Day outfit and date ideas, with personalized styling advice.

Joseph was born and raised in Orlando. She made Atlanta her home as a teenager, where her stories are chiefly centered.  Joseph joined the U.S. Air Force and was stationed in Grand Forks, North Dakota where she met her husband and started her family.  She has since lived and/or worked in three countries, six states and seven cities.

She currently works as an administrative specialist for the Federal Aviation Administration and a veteran of Operation Enduring Freedom with 19 years of experience in aviation.

On why she wrote a romance novel and not a book about aviation, she answered, “I don’t think it’s really a romance novel; not in the traditional sense.  It’s a story that examines the phenomenon of love, in all of its manifestations.  Love for your family, love for your friends and love for one’s self.  The story deals with the extents we’ll go to for love, what we’ll give up for love and even what love takes from us.  I consider it a love story.”

The book is available on Amazon.com and Createspace.com.
