Coweta County Animal Control’s “New Home for the New Year” pet adoption fair is Saturday, Jan. 9, from 9 a.m. until noon. It is free to attend for everyone and the public is welcome. Parking is free and the event will take place rain or shine.
Adoptions will be half-price the day of the fair only. There will be games, raffles, door prizes, shelter tours, and other family-friendly fun for a great cause. The guests of honor, of course, are the adoptable cats and dogs.
